Overview
Pickabook protects your privacy and your child's privacy while creating personalised storybooks.
Children's privacy and consent
- We do not collect personal information from children under 13 directly.
- Only a parent or legal guardian may provide a child's photo and name.
- Photos are used solely to create the requested storybook.
- A shared book link may show generated illustrations and a child's first name, but never the original photo, payment, or delivery data.
Information we process
That can include account details, a child's first name, the story details needed for personalisation, and portrait photos of the child or an optional family member. During creation, our illustration engine may create a temporary numerical facial representation only to generate the book—not for unrelated facial recognition.
Retention and deletion
Original uploaded photos are automatically deleted from production servers within 30 days of book completion. Generated pages are stored securely so your family can access or re-order the story.
Partners and your rights
Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store card data. Necessary processing and storage partners handle only the data required to provide the service. To access, correct, or delete your information, contact privacy@pickabook.store.
